FiRE 106: Hope across the waters

An outpouring of compassion and answered prayers headline the October 2026 edition of FiRE.
In Nepal, following catastrophic glacial flooding that swept away entire villages and bridges, generous supporters contributed over $170,000 for emergency relief. Working with Living Stone Ministries, aid is moving directly to thousands of displaced people—including temporary river ziplines constructed to reach isolated communities cut off by raging waters.

Celebration joins relief as two long-awaited building projects reach completion. In Nepal, the Chepang villagers celebrated the dedication of their new church building, erected through their own hands and sustained faith. Across the water in Sumatra, funds from the "Breakfast by the Bay" event allowed Manna School to finish a complete roof replacement just two days before severe monsoon storms hit, keeping classrooms dry and safe for 225 students.
