FiRE: 105 Together in His Harvest

Spiritual awakening and urgent practical needs headline the June 2026 edition of FiRE, reminding us that God is faithfully at work even in the hardest places. From the front lines of conflict in Myanmar, 29-year-old Pastor Shwe Lone shares a powerful message on finding joy and praying continuously through civil war and recent bombing attacks. Though families in Chin State live under the constant threat of airstrikes, his courageous leadership stands alongside the critical relief work of the Myanmar Lutheran Church, which has delivered emergency aid to vulnerable families displaced by both war and a devastating earthquake.

In rural Liberia, the mission is facing a major hurdle after their long-serving "vehicle of hope" broke down beyond repair. Without reliable transport, dedicated teachers must travel long distances by crowded buses or motorcycle taxis to reach the three rural schools supported by Asia Focus. An urgent appeal is underway to raise $25,000 for a durable vehicle to restore vital access to education, emergency medical care, and remote village outreach for the next generation.

Also inside this edition:
- exciting ministry highlights and the first accredited bible school graduation in Mongolia;
- a beautiful story of how Australian Sunday school support transformed a congregation in the Philippines;
- five recent baptisms bringing joy to the Youth Development Centre in Thailand
- If you are near the Gold Coast, you will also find details for the "Breakfast by the Bay" event on June 27th to help raise critical funds for a school roof replacement in Sumatra.

Thank you for praying, giving, and walking alongside these ministries as faith and love are put into action.
